Storytime at Brookwood Community Farm, Ages 0-5
Wednesday, June 6 at 10:30 a.m. 

Enjoy a beautiful outdoor storytime and a walking tour that includes seeing the veggies growing. Brookwood Farm is a historic farm on Blue Hill River Road in Canton, Massachusetts. Ample free parking is available. The farm is located at: 11 Blue Hills River Rd., Canton, MA 02021. Hosted by the Sharon Public Library in partnership with Brookwood Community Farm. 



Storytime at The Sharon Community Center
Wednesday, June 13 at 10:30 a.m.

Songs, stories and a craft. Ages 0-5. Meet on the porch of the Sharon Community Center, 219 Massapoag Ave. Ample free parking. Rain moves this program to the Ballroom of the Sharon Community Center. This program is presented in partnership with the Town of Sharon Recreation Department.
 



Storytime at Ames Street Playground
Wednesday, June 20 at 10:30 a.m. 

Songs, stories, bubbles, and games. Ages 0-5. Ames Street Playground is located at 85 Ames Street (1 block east of Pond Street). This program is presented in partnership with the Town of Sharon Recreation Department.                                                                        
 



Storytime at Community Center BEACH
Wednesday, June 27 at 10:30 a.m.

Bring your beach toys (or use ours). Songs, stories, play. Ages 0-5. Community Center Beach is located on Community Center Drive (off Massapoag Ave.). Park for free in the Community Center Beach parking lot. In case of rain, please go to the Sharon Community Center (219 Massapoag Ave.) for an indoor storytime. In partnership with the Town of Sharon Recreation Department.
 



Storytime at the New Sharon Fire Department
Wednesday, July 11 at 10:30 a.m.

Listen to a firefighter read a story and then climb in a real firetruck! The new Sharon Fire Department is located at: 211 South Main Street. 

 



Storytime at Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary
Wednesday, July 18 at 10:30 a.m. 

Meet on the front lawn of the Visitor Center for stories. Create a fairy home in the Nature Play area in the Pine Forest. Visit the new Nature Playscape. Feel free to bring your lunch and picnic after the program!Please enter 293 Moose Hill Parkway into your GPS! In case of rain, the program will be moved indoors.


 



Dave Marchetti's Animal Experiences
Thursday, July 19 with shows at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Dave Marchetti's Animal Experiences is an enjoyable hour of information and fun with turtles, lizards, snakes and small mammals in the most hands on show you will ever attend. Sessions at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Registration required. Ages 0+.

Big Ryan's Tall Tales, Ages 2+
Thursday, July 26 at 10:30 a.m. 

Big Ryan’s Tall Tales has been telling stories now for over 11 years! Big Ryan's shows include original stories, puppet play, a bit of music and movement and a whole lot of fun!

This program is funded by the Friends of the Sharon Public Library.



Rainforest Reptiles presents: Reptiles Rock
Thursday, August 2 at 10:30 a.m.

This program includes a mini zoo set up with ten to fourteen small animals ( bugs, frogs, snakes, lizards, etc.) and animal artifacts to look at. Additionally it includes an informative presentation by a trained herpetologist. This program starts with a Red or Yellow Footed Tortoise, moves onto a monitor or tegu lizard, continues onto a nine to ten feet long boa or python, and ends with an American Alligator. Rainforest Reptiles will request volunteers throughout the presentation. Everyone will have the opportunity to handle both the snake and the alligator after the program.

Storytime in the MANSION at Borderland State Park
Wednesday, August 15 at 10:30 a.m. 

Weather permitting, park in the Wedding Parking Lot
(257 Massapoag Ave, North Easton). Storytime in the Mansion’s Library. Tour of the Mansion, followed by crafts and field games behind the Mansion (weather permitting.) Please no food, drink, or photography in the mansion. Ample safe stroller parking on the Lattice Porch in back of the Mansion.
