Earn Raffle Tickets for Reading, Creating and Having Fun!

Summer Challenge! It's almost time for our Tween & Teen Library Challenge! Here's a handy FAQ to break it all down:

When is it?

July 12 - August 23 2025

How do I sign up?
Fill out this quick form, then pick up your paper reading log in the teen room starting on July 12.

I'm signed up. Now what?
Now you can start tracking the time you spend reading. You earn more raffle tickets the more you read! Can you read for 24 hours this summer?

Are there other ways to earn tickets?
Yes! Each week during the challenge there will be a fun activity to do.

Each weekly activity earns you 3 tickets!

What do you do with the tickets?
Once you earn tickets you can enter them in raffles for a chance to win great prizes!

Can I get credit for a book I have to read for school?
Yes! Just keep track of how much time you read.

Teen Volunteering

Get Involved!

Volunteer! Are you entering 6th-12th grade in 2025? Would you like to earn valuable work experience helping out in a library this summer? Fill out this application and we'll get you started!

Our volunteers help with a wide range of things, from wiping down children's toys to inventorying board games to decorating bulletin boards. Volunteer don't shelve books, as that is something our staff does. But there are plenty of other tasks to go around!
