OverDrive and the Libby App

You will need your library card number and PIN/password (the default is OCLN which is not case-sensitive)  

Find titles by using the OverDrive catalog or download the Libby App to your device. 

Note: OverDrive is our vendor for eBooks and audiobooks. Libby is OverDrive's app.

hoopla

You will need to create a hoopla account with an email and password. Begin by logging in with your your Sharon library card number and PIN/password (the default is OCLN which is not case-sensitive).

Once signed in, you can borrow titles through the hoopla mobile app or the website. Borrowed titles are accessed by clicking on "My hoopla" on the website or in the hoopla app. hoopla is for Sharon cardholders only. Patrons may borrow up to five (5) items per month.

Note: hoopla operates on a pay-per-view system.The Library pays for each item borrowed, determined by a set monthly and daily budget. When the budget has been expended for the day/month, patrons will be unable to borrow items until the budget cap resets at midnight the following day, or on the first day of the next month. Borrows do not carry over to the next month.
