Explore technology and engineering by opening up every day objects to see how they work.  What's inside a blender, or calculator? or an amplifier?  Or feel free to bring anything you like from home.  (Please no older "tube" TV's/monitors, or anything with liquids.)
Tools and safety equipment will be provided.

Prepare to explore the unexplained with Jeff Belanger, the Emmy-nominated host, writer and producer of New England Legends on PBS.  He is the author of over a dozen books on the paranormal, including one on Massachusetts.  Sharon Public Library Community Room.

New Head of Youth Services

Jonah Smiley, a former school librarian with experience at the K - 8 and high school levels, is excited to join the Sharon Public Library staff as the new Head of Youth Services. In addition to five years experience in the public schools, he holds an MLS from Simmons College.

Jonah hopes to bring his passion for games and technology to SPL's youth programming. When not at the library he can usually be found in his garden or unsuccessfully trying to teach his retired greyhound, Elvis, how to share the couch.
