New Youth Services Librarian

Jessica started as the part-time Youth Services Librarian in July. Originally from Providence, RI, Jessica lived on the West Coast and in the South, before recently moving back to New England. She graduated from library school at UCLA in 2006, and has worked for the LA County Library System and the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System. Jessica’s favorite children’s authors include Maurice Sendak and Rick Riordan. She enjoys teaching toddlers words and songs, and hopes to promote early literacy across economic and cultural ranges.

Sharon History Digitized

We've begun digitizing parts of our historical collection to provide off-site access to the documents.  Thanks to funding provided by the Digital Commonwealth, we will be able to digitize more items every year.  Included in the first batch are Marsengold High School Yearbooks, William R. Mann diaries, Deborah Sampson items and lots more. Take a Look!

LearningExpress Library features nearly 1,000 online tutorials, practice tests, and eBooks to help patrons of all ages.
